Kitzerow tried acupuncture, massage therapy and chiropractic care with little success. Finally, through a friend’s encouragement and a bit of research, she decided to try Rolfing.
“At times, the pain was so intense it was slowing me down,” she said. “Since Rolfing, I’ve been able to build back up, running and lifting weights again. It’s amazing how far I’ve come.”
While the name Rolfing is a bit peculiar, the technique has been getting a great deal of attention across the country and rave reviews by participants.
“Rolfing is a form of bodywork that deals with the fascia system of the body to restore alignment and proper function,” said Victoria Huss, certified Rolfer and owner of New Possibilities Integration in Appleton.
